    URGENT Call to Action: Lehigh Acres Volunteers Needed for Meals on Wheels Routes this Summer

    FORT MYERS, Fla. (May 6, 2024) – As summer approaches, Community Cooperative issues an urgent plea for volunteers to deliver meals through Meals on Wheels in Lehigh Acres for these upcoming summer months. Community Cooperative emphasizes the profound impact volunteering has on both the community and the individuals it serves.

    “Volunteers are the driving force behind our ability to serve those in need,” says Stefanie Ink-Edwards, CEO of Community Cooperative. “Simply delivering a meal can brighten someone’s day, alleviate loneliness, and ensure that our most vulnerable community members receive the nourishment they need.”

    Community Cooperative is looking for volunteers for their Meals on Wheels Lehigh Acres Routes for June, July, and August. Volunteering for Meals on Wheels offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of others.
