Fighting hunger one bowl at a time!

Centennial Park Downtown Fort Myers
Enjoy this “souper” satisfying event benefitting Community Cooperative. Admission is FREE for kids and $10 for adults 18 years and older and includes soup tastings and a handcrafted ceramic bowl made by local school children while supplies last. Tickets can be bought at the gate. Pre-purchased tickets will be at will call.
Sanibel Pottery will be collaborating with this year’s event to raise hunger awareness through art. One-of-a kind handcrafted ceramic bowls made by Lee County school children and artisans will be available for purchase at the event as a reminder of those who go hungry right here in Lee County.
This year’s event will feature:
- A soup cook-off and soup sampling from local favorite restaurants
- Vendor area, including local artisans
- Live music
- Silent auctions
- Food trucks
- Family friendly activities
- Dance and music performances by local schools and organizations, and more!
Empty Bowls supports Community Cooperative’s emergency food programs that include Sam’s Community Café & Kitchen, the Community Market and Mobile Food Pantries.
