The 15th Annual Sam Galloway, Jr. & Friends Soup Kitchen Benefit benefiting Community Cooperative, raised a record $575,000 for it’s programs to end hunger and homelessness in Southwest Florida. The event was held inside the service garages at Sam Galloway Ford Lincoln in Fort Myers.
600 attendees enjoyed fine wines and spirits and a variety southern-style delights all donated from local chefs, businesses and restaurants including Norman Love Confections, Mastello Ristorante and A Touch of Italy Market, Nevermind Awesome Bar & Eatery, Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, Jonesez BBQ, the Hansen Family, Three Fishermen Restaurant, The Farmer’s Market Restaurant, The Alva Diner, Suncoast Beverage, Mast Family Culligan, Stilwell Enterprises, Three Little Bird’s Breakfast Truck, Narrative Coffee Roasters, The Thomas Family, Artisan Eatery, The Soup Kitchen at Community Cooperative and The Ranch Concert Hall & Saloon.
All proceeds raised benefit Community Cooperative and its Community Cafés and Market, the Soup Kitchen, Meals on Wheels, Healthy School Pantry and Food Literacy in Pre-School (FLIP) programs, Mobile Food Pantries, Social and Education Resource Centers and Long Term Recovery efforts post Hurricane Irma for hungry and homeless residents in need.
