Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach, Community Cooperative partner Aug. 21 for ‘Cheeseburger in Paradise’

WHAT: On Thursday, Aug. 21, Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach and Community Cooperative are partnering to host “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” a one-of-a-kind event that will transform Sam’s Community Café & Kitchen into a mini-Margaritaville for the day.

Margaritaville’s culinary and human resources teams will bring island vibes and flavorful eats to the nonprofit’s downtown Fort Myers campus, serving up grilled cheeseburgers and more while solo musician Orlando Phillips entertains guests with live steel drum music.

Sam’s Community Café & Kitchen, operated by Community Cooperative, serves hundreds of nutritious meals to those in need every day. The organization is proud to partner with Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach to transform the café into a unique, island-inspired experience for clients — bringing fun to the community.

Community Cooperative works to eliminate hunger and homelessness in Southwest Florida by offering innovative food, education and social service programs. Through the support of volunteers, board members and community partners, the organization provides hope, resources and long-term support to those seeking a path to stability and self-sufficiency.
