Give Help

Sadly, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Becoming Cosmopolitan will not be taking place in 2020. We have been busier than ever in all of our programs during this pandemic to ensure those in crisis had help. Though we are unable to dance the night away and raise money to support our women & children’s programming at this year’s event, there is still important work to be done. Many of our 2019 sponsors encouraged us to create a Becoming Cosmopolitan Cares fundraising match campaign. They have pledged $50,000 to help fund our holiday efforts and outreach, and we need YOUR help to match it and raise $100,000 for Community Cooperative. This new initiative is meant to continue our mission to bring food to the hungry and hope to the hopeless. Our event may be cancelled, but doing good in the community is not!

For the families we serve, the main thing on their minds is whether or not they can put food on the table for their families on Thanksgiving or gifts under the tree for Christmas and this year is going to be tough on so many new families. Each year, Community Cooperative works to alleviate these stresses by providing support through a variety of outreach initiatives including our Full Plates Project, Adopt-a-Family, Adopt-a-Senior and other holiday outreach.
