Community Cooperative is pleased to present our second annual ‘Soup’er Hero 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, October 28th, 2017 at Gulf Coast Town Center in Fort Myers, Florida.

The event will benefit Community Cooperative, a local organization whose mission is to fight hunger and homelessness in Lee County. Proceeds from the event will support the Soup Kitchen at Community Cooperative. This year’s ‘Soup’er Heroes 5k will include an exciting route with twists and turns throughout the entire mall property, costume contests and more!

The race will begin promptly at 7:30am and people of all ages are invited to participate. Kids 12 and under can take advantage of special pricing. Runners are encouraged to dress up. This can include super heroes like we see in movies such as the Marvel characters or even everyday heroes that serve our community, such as a police man, nurse or fire fighter. This race is stroller friendly, but please leave your pets at home.
Awards will be given for overall fastest race times, as well as best costume and more! Register today!

Registration is $35.00 and registration for kids 12 and under is $20.00.

Important Race Information:

Race Date: Saturday, October 28th, 7:30am start, Gulf Coast Town Center. Address: 9903 Gulf Coast Main St, Fort Myers, FL 33913. Start line will be just south of Bass Pro Shops.

Registration and packet pick up will be available starting at 6:30 am on race day, and will also be in the information booth at Gulf Coast Center near the kid’s playground area. Please bring photo ID as we will require it for packet pickup.

Parking is available throughout Gulf Coast Town Center, but we do encourage you to not be late as we will be closing certain roads the course crosses at 7:20 am. Safety first! Course map is attached to this email. Post-race we will have water, Gatorade, orange juice and healthy snacks available thanks to our friends at Pepsi, Sun Harvest and the Community Café at Community Cooperative.

Please remember strollers are welcome, but are asked to start behind runners. Four legged Soup’er Heroes are not able to run in this race.
