Community Cooperative’s Soup-er Bowl Food Drive to Tackle Hunger: A Call for Donations and Team Spirit!
FORT MYERS, Fla. (January 28, 2025) – Community Cooperative’s Soup-er Bowl food drive is in full swing, and the excitement is building! Businesses, organizations, and individuals across Southwest Florida are showing their team spirit by collecting canned goods to support Community Cooperative’s mission of providing food to those in need—just in time for Super Bowl season.
The drive, which kicked off on January 14th, runs through February 6th, with the final drop-off and weigh-in happening on February 6th at Community Cooperative, located at 3429 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916. Every donation of non-perishable food items directly supports the nonprofit’s efforts to end hunger in the community.
“We are thrilled to see our community rallying together during this fun and meaningful competition,” said Janelle Olson, Community Engagement Director at Community Cooperative. “Whether you are cheering for your favorite team or simply want to make a difference, this is a great way to give back and help your neighbors in need!”
The winner of the Soup-er Bowl will be announced after the weigh-in, which will also serve as a prediction of which team will win the Super Bowl! Get in on the fun, support a great cause, and show your Super Bowl spirit! Businesses, organizations, and individuals can participate by collecting canned food in honor of the team they are rooting for.
Don’t miss your chance to join in the fun, show your team’s pride, and make a difference in the lives of those who need it most!
