    Community Cooperative to Receive $1 for Every Reusable Bag as Part of Winn-Dixie Community Bag Program 

    FORT MYERS, Fla. (May 29, 2024) – Community Cooperative is thrilled to announce that they have been selected as a beneficiary of the Winn-Dixie Community Bag Program for the month of June. This initiative, which began in February 2019, offers an easy way for shoppers to support local community organizations. 

    From June 1st through June 30th, whenever customers purchase a $2.99 reusable Community Bag at the Winn-Dixie located at 1050 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers Florida, $1 will be donated to Community Cooperative. These donations will directly support their mission of ending hunger and homelessness in southwest Florida.  

    “We are honored to have been selected as a part of this program and we are grateful for the support of Winn-Dixie and their customers,” said Stefanie Ink Edwards, CEO of Community Cooperative. “The funds raised will support our mission and enhance our ability to serve those in our community.” 

    Community Cooperative encourages Winn-Dixie shoppers to purchase a reusable Community Bag and directly support their organization. Together, we can make a meaningful impact in our community.
