Community Cooperative to Host Another Job Fair Empowering Local Job Seekers in Partnership with Career Source SWFL and Goodwill SWFL
FORT MYERS, Fla. (August 20, 2025) – Community Cooperative, in partnership with Career Source Southwest Florida and Goodwill Southwest Florida, will host a job fair designed to connect local job seekers with employment opportunities and essential career resources. The event will take place on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Sam’s Community Café & Kitchen, located at 3429 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Fort Myers 33916.
Stable employment is a vital step toward self-sufficiency, and this job fair is aimed at supporting individuals entering or re-entering the workforce, including those who may have experienced gaps in employment due to disability, incarceration, or other challenges.
Attendees will have the chance to meet with local employers, receive job search assistance, and access resume support services. Additionally, the Goodwill Mobile Job Unit will be on site, providing career counseling, skills assessments, and access to additional resources for job seekers looking to strengthen their employability. The event also features a special offer of free haircuts courtesy of the Florida Academy to help participants present their best selves.
“We understand that barriers to employment can be complex,” said Heather Singleton, Director of Social Services and Education at Community Cooperative. “This event is designed to provide support and resources that help individuals overcome those challenges and take confident steps toward sustainable employment.”
