Community Cooperative Partners with CareerSource SWFL and Goodwill SWFL for a Job Fair Event: Empowering Local Job Seekers with Resources and Opportunities
FORT MYERS, Fla. (March 3, 2025) – Community Cooperative, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger and homelessness in Southwest Florida, is excited to announce its Job Fair on March 12, 2025. The event will be hosted at Community Cooperative in Sam’s Community Café & Kitchen and is proudly sponsored by CareerSource SWFL, Goodwill SWFL, and Community Cooperative. This job fair is designed to target a population that is entering the job market for the first time or re-entering the job market after a gap in employment, which might be due to disability or incarceration.
Heather Singleton, Social Services and Education Manager at Community Cooperative, highlights the purpose of this important event: “Our goal with this job fair is to provide individuals in the community with the opportunity to secure stable employment and access valuable resources to improve their lives. By hosting the event in our café, we are ensuring a central, accessible location where people can connect with employers and services that can make a real difference.”
The job fair will feature over 25 vendors from various industries, offering job opportunities. Additionally, attendees will have access to free haircuts, provided by Florida Academy, ensuring that all participants feel prepared and confident when meeting with potential employers.
