Community Cooperative Kicks Off Annual Peanut Butter & Jelly Drive
FORT MYERS, Fla. (March 31, 2025) – Community Cooperative is excited to announce the kickoff of its annual Peanut Butter & Jelly Drive, an initiative rooted in the organization’s history of kindness and giving. The tradition began with the simple act of handing out PB&J sandwiches in downtown Fort Myers, and today, the Peanut Butter & Jelly drive continues to honor that generosity by collecting these pantry staples for families in need.
All it takes is a group of passionate people and some peanut butter and jelly to make a difference!
Throughout the month of April, Community Cooperative invites individuals, schools, churches, organizations, and community groups to donate peanut butter, jelly, and alternative nut butters to support families facing food insecurity. These items are essential due to their long shelf-life, nutritional value, and versatility for meals and snacks.
