Community Cooperative Introduces Community Market – On Demand Shopping
FORT MYERS, Fla. (May 30, 2024) – Community Cooperative is thrilled to announce the launch of a groundbreaking initiative aimed at enhancing the community market experience for their valued clients. Introducing Community Market – On Demand, a personalized and private shopping session tailored to each client’s preferences and needs.
In a time where the economy continues to present never-before-seen challenges, Community Cooperative has implemented an innovative solution to meet the needs of the community, while simultaneously keeping privacy and dignity as a priority. Community Cooperative recognizes the importance of accessibility and inclusivity in serving those in our community. With this new scheduling option, they strive to make the community market accessible to all who may have conflicts with their schedules.
“We are excited to introduce this innovative approach to shopping that prioritizes the individual needs and preferences of our clients while offering greater flexibility and convenience,” says Stefanie Ink-Edwards, CEO of Community Cooperative. “The need is growing and so we recognize our programs need to adapt to that to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to access fresh, quality produce and pantry items.”
With this private shopping session, clients have the opportunity to hand-select their groceries with our dedicated staff members to provide personalized guidance and assistance at a time that works for them. “Every client is unique, with Community Market – On Demand, we want to ensure clients have a shopping experience that suits them,” says Rebecca Busby, Food Program Director at Community Cooperative. This Community Market – On Demand experience is to take place outside Community Cooperative’s normal market shopping hours and is by appointment, with scheduling opportunities at least 24 hours in advance, which allows for client planning.
