  • Community Cooperative Adds New Location to Its 2023 Mobile Food Pantry Schedule

    January 6, 2023

FORT MYERS, FL. (January 3, 2023) – Community Cooperate added The American Legion in Bonita Springs to their Mobile Food Pantry distribution sites in 2023.

The first mobile food pantry to take place at The American Legion is scheduled for Monday, January 23 from 3:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. The address is at 27678 Imperial Shores Blvd, Bonita Springs.

“There has been a significant increase in the number of residents facing food insecurity in the Bonita Springs community,” said Stefanie Edwards, CEO of Community Cooperative. “So many people are struggling with unemployment and other challenges as a result of Hurricane Ian. We are eager to partner with this new location to serve even more people with not only groceries, but access to additional resources.”

ID is required for all attendees and bringing bags is encouraged with a limit of one Mobile Food Pantry visit per month per household.

If you are interested in financially supporting, volunteering for or have any questions about the Mobile Food Pantry program, visit www.CommunityCooperative.com or call 239-332-SOUP (7687).
