Sam Galloway, Jr. & Friends Soup Kitchen Benefit Menu Announced

The 15th annual Sam Galloway Jr. & Friends Annual Soup Kitchen Benefit, an evening of friendship, fundraising and as Sam says, “darn good food” will be held Thursday, March 8th, at Sam Galloway Ford in Fort Myers. One of Southwest Florida’s most anticipated fundraising events with over 600 guests and a donated southern-style dinner held inside the service garages at Sam Galloway Ford.

Guests will enjoy fine wine and spirits and a variety southern-style delights from local chefs and restaurants including Norman Love Confections, Mastello Ristorante and A Touch of Italy Market, Nevermind Awesome Bar & Eatery, Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, Jonesez BBQ, the Hansen Family, Three Fishermen Restaurant, The Farmer’s Market Restaurant, Uncle Charlie’s Cookie Ministry, The Alva Diner, Three Little Bird’s Breakfast Truck, The Thomas Family, Artisan Eatery and The Soup Kitchen at Community Cooperative. Beverage sponsors include Suncoast Beverage, Mast Family Culligan, Narrative Coffee Roasters, Stilwell Enterprises and The Ranch Concert Hall & Saloon.

“Hunger and food insecurity continues to be an issue here in Southwest Florida, especially post Hurricane Irma,” said Tracey Galloway, CEO of Community Cooperative. “We have seen significant increases in the number of children, families and elderly that benefit from our programs and we need the community’s support now more than ever.”

All proceeds will benefits Community Cooperative and its Community Cafés and Market, the Soup Kitchen, Meals on Wheels, Healthy School Pantry and Food Literacy in Pre-School (FLIP) programs, Mobile Food Pantries, and Social and Education Resource Centers for our hungry and homeless residents in need.
